DIY Routed SeaDek Edges – Gheenoe LT25

This is a project done by a member on One of the best DIY jobs I’ve seen in a long time. He even included a diagram of the homemade router jig. The SeaDek material really is easy to work with if you take your time and cut carefully.

“SeaDek came out great with a home made jig and a router for straight edges and trim router for the curves. Ram pole mounts can be swung in or out or even to the back.”

“I made this jig and used a formica / edge trimmer with the same bit for the hand edges around corners. May take more than one pass if you do not keep the foam blown or vacuumed out.”

    Good morning,
My center console has an 1/2″ outer lip can I cover that with Sea-Dek when applied to the deck or will it lift due to any unevenness to the deck.
