Here are a few photos of a Chaparral 246 (www.chaparralboats.com) that were sent in by Scott from Contemporary Fiberglass in Washington. The swim platform of this boat is covered in storm gray over black faux teak SeaDek. Thanks Scott!
Our friend Joseph brought in his Hobie Revo 13 (www.hobiecat.com) for us to capture and produce stock kits. We made a custom 3-color kit for his kayak with routed radial lines and SeaDek logos. This 9mm brushed kit is dark gray over aqua camo over cool gray.
*This is a prototype of a 3-color lamination kit. 3- color kits are not yet available for order.
Here’s another great DIY SeaDek project done by one of our customers. Bill covered the deck of his boat with 5mm bahama blue SeaDek Sheet Material. He even used some of the left over material to cover the soles of his flip flops. Cool idea Bill!
SeaDek Sheet Material is available on our webstore in a variety of colors and sizes: www.seadek.com/c-5-sheet-material.aspx. Perfect for the Do-It-Yourselfer, SeaDek Sheet Material is made from non-absorbent, closed cell EVA foam, and can be cut to fit any number of applications with a sharp razor knife. Like our other SeaDek products, sheet material is backed with our robust peel-and-stick backing that allows for easy installation.
Alan and Pepi of Team SeaDek competed in the Salty Fly Tournament last weekend.
“HUGE thanks to SeaDek Marine Products for sponsoring myself and Teammate Pepi Vidal in this past weekend’s Salty Fly Tournament out of Ruskin, FL. This was our second year competing and we, once again, had a great time!!
SeaDek was also a sponsor for the tournament which made for some very happy raffle winners of some fish rulers and helm pads.
Next stop for Team SeaDek will be the IFA Redfish Tour in Titusville, Fl. Thanks again SeaDek for all your support !!!”
Here’s a prototype SeaDek kit for a Jackson Kilroy (jacksonkayak.com) in our new Desert Camo. This kit is 5mm think with a brushed finish.
Desert Camo is the latest addition to our variety of colors and is part of our new selection of camo foam that features a tighter pattern. Our new camo patterns are still in development and not yet available to the public, but will be available in the upcoming months.
