Our crew just installed a brand new sign for our manufacturing facility entrance made right here on our production floor. The lettering is made from our closed-cell, nonabsorbent EVA foam material, just like all of our products, and backed with our 3M™ marine grade PSA (pressure sensitive adhesive). “SeaDek Marine Products” features a unique three color lamination of bimini blue, storm gray, and white.
Back in September we made and installed a custom SeaDek kit for Jim, a member of the crew at Extreme Fishing Adventures (www.extremefishingadventures.tv). A couple weeks ago we posted a custom Jackson Coosa kit that we made for the Fishing for Soldiers kayak fishing tournament (www.fishingforsoldiers.com). Here are a few post installation pictures of this prize kayak before being awarded to the event’s top angler:
Well it was a beautiful weekend for the Nautique 2014 U.S. Open of Water Skiing on Lake Ivanhoe in downtown Orlando, FL. The SeaDek crew was on site with samples and giveaways and the SeaDek Super Air Nautique was in the water and pulled the wakesurfing demo. Photos by: Carly McCarthy

This past Thursday, SeaDek was awarded as a 2014 Florida Companies to Watch winner. We are honored to be recognized in the 2014 class amongst a group of 50 notable second-stage companies.
Meet a few of the winners:
About Florida Companies to Watch: Florida Companies to Watch is an awards program that celebrates privately held second-stage companies headquartered in the state. To be eligible, applicants must employ between 6 and 99 full-time equivalent employees and have between $750,000 and $50 million in annual revenue or working capital in place. Awardees are selected for demonstrating the intent and capacity to grow based on employee or sales growth, exceptional entrepreneurial leadership, sustainable competitive advantage, outstanding corporate culture, inspired community giving and other notable strengths.
Florida Companies to Watch is unique because of its focus on second-stage companies and the wide-ranging industries they represent. The impact of these companies on Florida’s economy is immense, and this year’s honorees are examples of such companies in the state. Overall, the 2014 winners had $370 million in total annual revenue in 2013, which was a 36 percent increase in total annual revenue compared to 2012. They employed 1,757 full-time equivalent employees, with 462 net new jobs projected for 2014.
