We’ve been working in cooperation with our good friends over at Spearing Magazine to outfit this beautiful Proline 2950 with a custom SeaDek kit. This boat gets a lot of use on the Gulf Coast of Florida. Spearfishing and scuba diving are it’s primary function and tanks and gear can really put a beating on the fiberglass decks.
The owner, Chris, chose to go with storm gray over black SeaDek material with a brushed finish. This will add comfort, sound dampening, glare reduction and some much needed protection from daily use. It also adds some aesthetic enhancement to a plain white deck. For a finishing touch we added a custom routed hogfish to the center hatch cover.

Installation is as easy as peeling and sticking the pads down with SeaDek’s marine grade PSA (pressure sensitive adhesive). Here Jason gardner applies some cockpit pads.Custom hogfish logo routed right into the pad:Swim-step entry non-skid pad and a helm station anti-fatigue pad:Be sure to keep an eye out for some more photos of this boat and installation in upcoming issues of Spearing Magazine (http://www.spearingmagazine.com/) and on SeaDek’s social media pages.
