2012 Marks the eighth year of our Toys For Tots Holiday Fundraiser. We’re proud to have raised over $48,000 toward the cause during our first seven years! Our phenomenal results are thanks to some very generous sponsors and a lot of bidders that have grabbed some outstanding deals on wakeboarding equipment while helping a good cause. Your efforts have made a lot of underprivileged children’s holidays a lot brighter.
This year’s auctions start on 11/27 at 10:30 AM PT and run for seven days. As you can see from the sponsor list below, it’s another great year. We have over $70,000 worth of wake gear to bid on with all profits going towards the U.S. Marine Corps Toys For Tots program.

The fun part comes when we take the money raised and see how much we can spend with one trip to the toy store. As you can see from the video below from the San Diego NBC affiliate, five shopping carts, a long bed truck and the spirit of competition to see who can leave the store with the most toys in their cart makes it a great WakeWorld family tradition. Once the purchases are made, we head down to our local Marine Corps toy drive to drop off the toys and present the Marine Corps with a check for the balance.
