Like many fishing guides, Capt. Josh Constantine—the “Caloosahatchee Cowboy”—relies on tarpon season to support his family year-round, but business has halted due to COVID-19 concerns. His message: “Even when this passes, we still have our water to worry about.”
Captains For Clean Water is launching a new video series called “On Deck” — 2-minute short films featuring guides and businesses sharing how they’re dealing with COVID-19 and reminding people about the importance of water quality. They are telling their stories as a reminder that we cannot lose sight of our water issues. Coronavirus will pass and clean water will be the key to our state’s economic resurgence.
