Don’t Restore Your Swim Platform, SeaDek It!

We just received some photos from Scott at Contemporary Marine Flooring in Spokane, Washington. They are one of our newest SeaDek Certified Fabricators and they are bringing custom SeaDek to the Pacific Northwest.

Scott told us the story of a customer who stored their boat in a barn last winter, and when it came out for the spring, it appeared that a creature (possibly a raccoon) had severely damaged his swim platform.

So what did they decide to do? SeaDek it!

Scott templated the platform and created custom SeaDek pads for the platform that completely masked the critter damage. And not only did it cover the ugly scratches, but it gave the platform a sharp new look and functional non-skid—not to mention added value for the boat.

So at the end of the day, the customer saved a boatload of money and got a sweet SeaDeked swim platform to boot! Way to go guys!
