Filming with Silver Kings TV

In a follow up to our recent post from Islamorada, here are a few shots from one of the photo boats last week used during the filming of Silver Kings TV (http://www.silverkingstv.com/) which will begin airing this fall on Discovery’s Destination America (http://www.destinationamerica.com/).
On this day I was on the boat with Nicky Runnels following Captain Rob Fordyce (VooDoo Daddy) and competitive angler Heidi Nute in the Women’s Spring Fly Tarpon Classic. Captain Rob Fordyce is a professional saltwater guide with over 30 years of experience guiding anglers for big tarpon as well as permit, bonefish, snook and many other saltwater gamefish. 

Heidi has competed and triumphed in several Keys tournaments. She scored back-to-back victories, alongside Captain Rob Fordyce, in the 2012 and 2013 Ladies Invitational Tarpon Fly tournaments — and took grand champion angler titles at the 2009, 2010 and 2013 Women’s Fall Fly Classic.

On the other photo boat were Marty Dashiell (http://www.kchd.net/) and Peter Lopez. Marty Dashiell is considered one of the ELITE Producers in the outdoor television market. Marty has spent the last 20+ years SHOOTING, EDITING, & PRODUCING some of the highest rated programs on ESPN, such as the Bassmaster Elite Series, The Madfin Shark Series, Spanish Fly with Jose Wejebe (http://www.spanishflytv.com/), The Fishin’ Hole with Jerry Mckinnis and recently ESPN’s The Saltwater Series. He was also the creative mind behind the innovative series Tailwalker on Versus HD, which garnered a PRIMETIME slot in it’s first season.
