Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia is home to the Radical Rodents Surf Team, and just as it sounds… they’re mice! Known as the smallest surfers on the planet, these mice are trained as babies and ride custom handcrafted boards, just like the pros.

Shane Willmott, coach and board shaper, is making SeaDek surf traction pads for his little guys out of 2mm EVA foam.

Shane’s mini traction pads bring SeaDek full circle with where we started. SeaDek was born out of our original product line X-Trak, a leading brand in the surf industry. In addition, we made pads for 11 time World Champion Kelly Slater under his K-Grip and Community Project labels.
