SeaDek Certified Fabricator Training

SeaDek is proud to announce the successful completion of another SeaDek Certified Fabricator program. Certified SeaDek Fabricators specialize in the entire SeaDek process from start to finish. They template boats, create CAD drawings, cut SeaDek EVA material using CNC technology, and install the final products assuring the perfect fit and finish. All SeaDek pads are installed using 3M™ pressure sensitive adhesive which is inspected and applied at the SeaDek manufacturing facility in Rockledge, Florida.

The five new fabricators spent two days at the SeaDek manufacturing facility in Rockledge, FL discussing pattern capturing, CAD design, production, installation, customer service and much more. Ideas and resources were shared and exchanged while great friendships were created. The primary goal of the SeaDek Certified Fabricator program is to provide the highest level of products, service and support to our customers across the country and around the world.

We recently extended our SeaDek Certified Fabricator and Installer programs internationally. “We’ve come to realize we can’t service the aftermarket from one location, so last year we initiated a program to train and set up regional installer partners who can go out to marinas and service aftermarket clients,” said SeaDek co-owner and vice president of marketing, Jason Gardner. “Our initial focus was to train and set up a network of SeaDek certified installers as well as some SeaDek certified regional fabricators in different parts of the US. But as we’ve been attending more international trade shows, we understand that we need to replicate this effort globally.”

Having brought a unique product to the marine industry that illuminates the need for troublesome carpeting we now need to meet the growing demand and this Certified Fabricator program is a giant step in that direction. Here are the 5 new fabricators that completed the SeaDek training earlier this month. These fabricators are listed by their physical address but each has mobile capabilities and can travel outside of their immediate area.
