SeaDek Contributes to Brevard Zoo’s Safari Under the Stars

On April 28^th, Brevard Zoo welcomed 450 guests to its annual Signature fundraiser, Safari Under the Stars, and as a contributing sponsor of the event, members of the SeaDek team were on hand to take part in the festivities.  It was truly a “night of nights” with fantastic pre-parties in three themed parts of the Zoo where wonderful hors d’oeuvres, libations, live entertainment and fascinating animals set the tone for the main event.

Bindi Irwin traveled all the way from Australia to participate in the evening’s festivities and share her wisdom, insights and experiences that coincided so precisely with that our Zoo is doing to benefit our community and the world.  Additionally, Bill Klein and Dr. Jennifer Arnold (The Little Couple from TLC TV) were here as special guests to help unveil the Zoo’s new Exceptional Nature Space, designed with funds raised at last years Safari Under the Stars to be a place of learning, recreation, enrichment and creativity from youth with varying exceptionalities.

With an amazing dinner, exciting presentations, lively auction and loads of camaraderie, the Zoo’s critical missions were the beneficiary of everyone’s commitment to our community and future generations.  SeaDek was thrilled to be part of an event that raised $630,000 for such a magnificent cause.  And the celebration didn’t end early!  As dinner wrapped up, the party transitioned into the now famous, Safari After Dark, where a live band and dancing were highlighted with delightful late night treats, a Cigar Lounge, and delicious liqueurs.
