SeaDek Crew Puts Apparel to the Test On Recent Trip

Last month, Matt Melheim and Mike Longman of the SeaDek team joined some friends for a weekend of fishing in Marathon in the Florida Keys. After hearing rumors of an early Dolphin run, they loaded up the trolling gear and headed south in hopes of full coolers and singing reels. In true SeaDek fashion, they went armed with enough SeaDek gear to take on whatever nature dished out, including Performance shirts, short and long sleeve T-shirts, and Hats.  04-16_SeaDek_Apparel_Small-5

The next morning at the dock, the ocean gave the guys the perfect chance to put their threads to the test—six-foot seas in the gulfstream and 20-knot Northeast winds. They toughed it out and made it to the stream, where they put some quality fish in the boat, starting with some schoolie dolphin, and eventually some nice gaffers.

They shielded everyone from the harsh sun while staying cool and breathable, even after repeated salt soakings from the relentless chop. At the end of the weekend, everyone gave their SeaDek swag two thumbs up, and it was time to head back North for Monday morning at SeaDek headquarters.
