SeaDek Hosts Melbourne High School Academy of Business and Finance 2018

For the fifth year in a row, SeaDek is proud to have hosted the Melbourne High School Academy of Business and Finance at our Rockledge, FL facility.  The Academy of Business & Finance is a four-year academic program which gives all students, regardless of career choice, the personal and interpersonal skills necessary to succeed in college business courses and in today’s ever-changing business world.

We welcome the opportunity to show students that US manufacturing is a viable and dynamic career option. Employing almost 150 people of diverse educational and social backgrounds, SeaDek/Hyperform Inc. is an example of US manufacturing working and growing. As being selected as the SBA 2018 Small Business National Exporter of the Year Award indicates, SeaDek has become a global company with facilities and partner companies around the world.

In 2019 we will be running our first design competition with the Academy. Best new product design and marketing concept will receive a cash reward. We look forward to continuing to grow our relationship with MHSABC in the years to come and exploring other ways to inspire and encourage students to consider marine manufacturing for their future.
