SeaDek’s Amanda Bisset Featured in EDC’s Manufacturing Campaign

As an employer of over 130 full time employees in Brevard County, Florida, SeaDek takes pride in providing quality manufacturing jobs to local residents, and growing the regional economy through their continued expansion. And with technology steering the course of modern manufacturing in the 21st century, these jobs are not the manufacturing jobs of our grandparents—computers, high tech machinery, and skilled workers utilizing technology to overcome challenges have replaced the stereotypical dark and dingy factory of the past.

The Economic Development Commission of Florida’s Space Coast has long been an advocate for manufacturing in Brevard, and their newest campaign, See manufacturing through new eyes, brings local manufacturing companies and their employees into the spotlight, with the goal of opening doors and creating new things to consider about manufacturing careers.

SeaDek’s Amanda Bisset, a Quality Assurance Technician, was chosen to represent SeaDek in the campaign after recently completing her CPT (Certified Production Technician) training. After moving into the quality department, Amanda has proven to be a major asset to the company, taking on responsibilities to maintain SeaDek’s ISO 9001:2015 certification, and other duties to ensure finished goods leaving the factory meet the strict quality standards customers have come to expect from SeaDek.

Congratulations Amanda, SeaDek is proud to have you as part of the team!
