How do I submit a warranty claim?
Submitting a warranty claim is easy!
If you purchased a custom SeaDek kit for a boat you already owned, contact the Certified Professional that installed your product and they will walk you through the warranty process.
If you purchased your boat from a manufacturer or dealer, reach out to the company you purchased the boat from and they will handle the warranty process from start to finish.
And finally, if you purchased directly from SeaDek, click here to file a warranty claim.
What is the best method to clean seadek?
The best method to clean SeaDek is with SeaDek’s Dek Magic cleaner, which is specifically formulated for PE/EVA foam. If Dek Magic is not available, SeaDek cleans easily with soap, hot water, and a stiff brush. For stubborn areas, a number of household products can be used. Do not use acid-based cleaners, such as MaryKate’s Hull Cleaner.
Does Seadek stain easily?
SeaDek is extremely stain resistant, however a few substances, such as fuel stabilizers, bird droppings, rust, and mustard can be problematic if not attended to in a timely manner. Prompt attention to these types of spills will ensure easy removal.
What is Light Amplification?
Light amplification is an environmentally induced phenomenon that takes place when focused sun reflects or refracts off a surface. Light amplification typically occurs in areas with vertical surfaces
What are mitigation pads?
Mitigation pads are used to combat light amplification. These pads are installed on the verticle, reflective surfaces of the boat to stop reflection/refractions from taking place.
Is SeaDek pet friendly?
Many people use SeaDek to keep pets firmly planted on the boat, however SeaDek is made from PE/EVA blended foam materials, so if scratched or clawed at enough, the product will tear or rip. With this being said, SeaDek’s closed-cell material will not absorb water if punctured. SeaDek is not warranted against pet damage.
